We are the most unique ski-in ski-out hotel near St. Moritz, and have direct access to the mountain ski slopes through our Corvatsch cable car, ensuring that our guests are never far away from ski nirvana.

What is Ski in Ski out?
What could be better than stepping out of the hotel and sliding down the mountain, returning right to the hotel entrance door at the end of the day? No need to walk a long way wearing heavy boots while carrying skis or board, or chivvy everyone onto a crowded bus.
At Nira Alpina you have a direct access to the ski slopes through a connection to the Corvatsch cable car station. It ensures a smooth and uninterrupted access to the ski slopes.

Where can I buy the ski pass?
For stays of more than 1 night, a ski pass can be purchased for CHF45 per person per day at the Reception. Please note that it is only bookable for the entire duration of the stay. With this ski ticket you can use all the ski lifts and the public transportation in the Oberengadin. For more information please contact the Reception.

Do you have a Ski Room?
Please leave your skis and boots or your hiking shoes in the ski room in hotel garage. Your personal ski closet can be accessed with your room card. For further information and help, please contact the Front Desk.

Ski area and transportation
The St. Moritz ski region includes following areas:
Corvatsch directly located next to the hotel
Corviglia and Piz Nair at approximately 7 kilometers
Diavolezza / Lagalp at approximately 25 kilometers
All ski areas can be reached by car and sufficient parking spaces are available.
They can also be reached by bus. The bus stop is located directly opposite the hotel and the bus transport is included with the ski pass.
There is a direct connection between the Corvatsch ski area (Silvaplana-Surlej) and the Corviglia ski area (St. Moritz Bad, Signal bus station) with the ‘Hahnensee-Express’, operating every half an hour in both directions.

Which busses are going to St. Moritz?
Bus Nr. 1 is going at 08.32 am on 30 minutes interval basis to St. Moritz train station. The last bus is leaving at 06.00 pm from the hotel.
Bus Nr. 6 is going at 08.47 am on 30 minutes interval basis to St. Moritz Centre, station “Schulhausplatz”. The last bus is leaving at 05.47 pm from the hotel.
Bus Nr. 2 is going from Surlej Parking at 06.32 pm hourly to St. Moritz Centre, station “Schulhausplatz”.

What is Snow Night?
Every Friday Night as from 07:00pm the Corvatsch is open for night skiing. The night slope is 4.2 km (2.6 miles), the longest floodlit night slope in Switzerland. Please contact Front Desk for further information, the tickets can be purchased directly at the cable car station.

How are the ski slopes in the Engadin St. Moritz region?
The region offers 88 downhill runs, of which 20% are classified as easy, 70% as medium and 10% as difficult.
Longest downhill run: 10 km/6.2 miles (glacier run from Diavolezza to Morteratsch).
Steepest downhill run in Graubünden (Lagalb): 86% gradient.
Freestyle - 3 snow parks: Snow Park Corvatsch with 6.8 m high half-pipe and bag jump, Corviglia Snow Park with new Fun Slope, and Zuoz Snow Park.

What are the Ski lift timings?
The Corvatsch cable car station is located just opposite the hotel entrance. During the entire winter season it runs on a daily basis starting at 8:20am, every 20 minutes until the last gondola goes up at 4:00pm (from 10.02. at 04.20 pm). The last gondola leaves the mountain top at 3303m at 5.00 pm (from 10.02. at 05.20 pm).

Which winter sports can we do in the Engadin?
The Engadin offers a wide selection of winter activities, including sledding, hiking with snowshoes, country cross skiing, ice skating, snow kite, winter hiking, bobsledding, horse riding or yoga on the Snow.
